Sean Flynn

Sean Flynn is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and supporting portfolio companies for Shasta Ventures.

Before joining Shasta Ventures, Sean worked at Yahoo in various product management and business development roles. Most recently, Sean was senior director of business development and business operations for Yahoo’s communication and community products such as Yahoo Mail, Messenger, Groups and Flickr. In that role, he was responsible for creating partnerships with start-ups like the Internet telephony provider Jajah, playing an integral role in the acquisition and integration of companies like Zimbra, Dialpad and Oddpost, and overseeing all business and financial planning for these respective businesses. Before that, Sean launched Yahoo’s premium voice services as a product manager on the Yahoo Messenger team.

Prior to Yahoo, Sean was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley where he advised technology, telecom, and media companies on equity financings and merger and acquisition opportunities in both New York and Singapore.
