Growth Networks developed a new category of networking silicon known as Internet Switching Fabrics, which feature scalable capacity and multi-service capability.  Rob Coneybeer was a co-sponsor of NEA’s investment in Growth Networks and served on the board of directors.  Post-acquisition, the team and technology was used to create Cisco's flagship core router, the CRS-1.
